High-pressure technology is used in various areas of research. Almost every day one comes across products that would not exist without high-pressure technology. High-pressure processes are used in a wide variety of everyday products, such as in the manufacture of plastics, flavourings, fragrances and cosmetics. Applied research is constantly engaged in optimising the processes required for this, and it strives to use the knowledge gained to come up with innovations. Further areas of research include basic research, measurement technology, geology and high-pressure pasteurisation. Ultra-high-pressure technology makes it possible to create conditions that do not occur under controllable conditions in nature. Without it, research in these areas wouldn’t even be possible.

Especially in research, industry-safe components for high-pressure technology are essential in order to achieve accurate and correct results. For many years we have been working closely with various institutes and we have completed many successful projects in this field.
