For which pressure ranges does Dieckers supply components?
Dieckers GmbH & Co. KG supplies components, tubing, and systems for pressures from 500 to 14,000 bar. We specialize in high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure, and extreme-high-pressure applications in industry and research.
What is autofrettage and what is it used for?
Autofrettage is a pressure-treatment process used to increase the fatigue strength of components subjected to internal pressure. By deliberately exceeding the yield point, permanent compressive residual stresses are created, which significantly extend the service life of the components. Dieckers performs autofrettage as a service for customer parts.
Which materials does Dieckers process for high-pressure components?
We process austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, duplex and super-duplex steels, as well as special alloys for corrosive or highly stressed operating conditions. The material selection depends on the pressure rating, the medium, and the operating environment.
